Crimson Tide Wheelchair Tennis Bounces Back with Pair of Wins at the Auburn Open

The Alabama Crimson Tide wheelchair tennis team had gotten off to a 2-4 start to the 2023-2024 season, including two 3-0 losses to Auburn. But the team bounced back, going 2-0 at the Auburn Open on Nov. 11, with the first win coming 2-1 against Auburn. Men's Wheelchair Basketball Sweeps Jalapenos Invitational

The Alabama men’s wheelchair basketball team held off a second-half rally in its fourth and final game of the Jalapeno’s Invitational. The Crimson Tide’s 53-51 victory over the Charlotte Rollin’ Hornets on the evening of Nov. 11 completed their 4-0 performance in the Invitational that was held at home at Stran-Hardin Arena on Nov. 10 and 11. In that win, the Tide were led by Tim Houston’s 18 points, Gabe Taylor’s 12 points, and Eric Francis’ 13 rebounds. Davis Faulkner Leaves After a Year and a Half as Director of Operations

 Davis Faulkner did not have adapted athletics on his radar, but he saw the job listing for a new director of operations for the Alabama Adapted Athletics program , applied for it, got the job, and began the position in July of 2022. After a year and a half in that position, Faulkner is leaving Alabama for a new position at Penn State where he will be the director of operations for Nittany Lion golf, tennis, fencing, and gymnastics. His last day on the job was Oct. 31.
